Food Engineering

Er. M. Tito Anand is an Assistant Professor in Workshop and fabrication Unit at the Indian Institute of food Processing Technology, Thanjavur, India. He received her M. Tech in Food Process Engineering from Annamalai University, Chidambaram in 2011. He joined IICPT as workshop engineer in 2003. He has worked on rice milling Technology and fabrication of gadgets for food/Agri processing. He had completed his project at University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada under student exchange programme. He has also undergone ToT training in the field of advance manufacturing in FSSAI at Kolkata.

He is a trainer for FoSTaC. He has guided ten undergraduate and six postgraduate and one M.Phil students from other colleges in their project and dissertation work. He teaches basic workshop technology and CAD courses for B.Tech (Food Process Engineering) students. He has served as an organizing committee member and conducted many national seminars and outreach programs for IICPT. He has more than ten publications to her credit in various national and international journals.
